  • Notes from the mini lesson
  • Device
  • Data from any online or offline assessments that your students have completed
Steps for the project:
  1. Click on this link to open the shared Google Slides
  2. Copy the first slide
  3. Start to plan out a lesson in your current phase of blended learning 
Things to include in your lesson plan:
  • Mini lesson with the teacher
  • Digital Content that is adaptive (if possible)
  • Independent practice
  • 4C's Activities (Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Critical Thinking)

What to Bring: 
  • Device or Cell Phone
Steps for the project:
  1. You will be working by yourself
  2. You will be creating an object that represents a topic that you are covering in class.  See examples below: 
  3. Use the K'Nex to build your object
  4. When you are finished take a photo of the object and post it to Seesaw
  5. Write about your object and comment on other objects that were created by the Etna Team

Sign into Seesaw Directions: 
To join your class, students will:
  1. Open the Seesaw Class App or go to the Seesaw website at app.seesaw.me using Chrome/Firefox.
  2. Choose I'm a Student.
  3. Choose Email / Google Account.
  4. Choose New Student.
  5. Choose to Create Email Account or Use Google Account.
  6. Enter the Join Code for your class.

Examples of objects that you can build: 
  • ELA:  create an object that represents a setting, character, or theme that goes along with your story
  • Science:  create an object that showcases a concept that you will be covering in your upcoming unit
  • Social Studies:  create a habitat, timeline, or object that can represent your next unit
  • Math: create a shape, math concept, or story problem object that matches along with your next chapter
  • Physical Education: create a playing field, shape, or object that promotes healthy living

  1. Take a look at the technology tools listed below for your content area
  2. Explore the different free web based tools 
  3. Pick one tool that you would like to add into an upcoming lesson or project 
  4. Take a screenshot of the tech tool
  5. Post the photo to Seesaw
  6. Write about how you are planning on using the tool in your classroom
