Participants in the Blended Learning Leadership Academy will be asked to participate in the ongoing discussion about how to implement the blended learning model into the school district and/or a school. The Blended Learning Leadership Academy will provide optional virtual meetings once a week to talk about strategies, ideas, and time to share what is working within the blended learning school. Building a secure personal learning network is one of the keys to create sustainability. Along with the virtual meeting, the participants will also have the chance to learn from blended learning coaches, administrators, and professors during the weekly Twitter chat. Regardless, this self-paced course will provide quality content that will walk any educational leader through the process of how to implement the blended learning methodologies through the three phases of blended learning.
This is a six-week course that moves at your own pace, place, and path. 3 semester credit hours from Ashland can be purchased for an additional cost.

Course objectives: The participants in the Blended Learning Leadership Academy course will be able to
- Understand the definition of blended learning
- Define the three phases of blended learning
- Create sample lesson plans for the three phases of blended learning to be used during staff meeting and/or professional development workshops
- Collaborate with other coaches and/or administrators on how to level up classroom teachers to the next phase of blended learning
- Develop a staff rubric that will showcase how teachers will progress through the three phases of blended learning
- Explore how growth mindset is an essential key to blended learning
- Develop a technology toolbox of resources to use within the blended learning environment as part of the building incentive
