Introduction To Blended Learning Virtual Workshop
Six- Hour Virtual Workshop
The DSD Professional Development team will provide classroom teachers and support staff with an overall view of the Three Phases of Blended Learning in a virtual, social distancing classroom, or a traditional learning environment. Phase One showcases how to design a checklist and learning studio for any classroom structure. Phase Two uses the data to differentiate the learning outcomes and allow students to move through the content at their own pace, place, and path. Phase Three pushes for high levels of student ownership while the teacher becomes the facilitator and student passions projects drive the learning targets. The two-hour hands-on workshop will demonstrate a working model of a Phase One and Phase Two blended learning environment. The workshop will focus in on the following objectives:

Virtual Blended Learning Workshops
With schools closing early for the 2019/20 school, now is the time to take a deeper dive into the "New Normal" for education. Blended Learning will become part of the education process for the fall of 2020. According to the USAToday.com Report, students will either start the school year with at-home learning, participate in some type of A/B schedule, or have flexible learning schedules.

Take this time in May, June, July, or August to train your staff on key aspects of Blended Learning.
All of our workshops will be interactive, engaging, and provide resources to develop high quality blended learning lessons for virtual learning or for social distance learning classrooms.
